After weeks of trial and errors, experiments and research, a chaotic collection of supplies, and even giving the task over to my little elementary art students, I was still trying to find my peace with my piece. What should have been a simple little Valentine in colored pencil; None passed my personal critique and in trying to invent my masterpiece, beyond the speed of time, I totally missed the meeting, relieved that I didn't have to share my failure.
I am my own worse critic and sabotage myself. Is this what keeps your art safely hidden in your cave too?
Rethinking that next time, success will be measured not by my work but by my willingness to share it.
