Lights, Camera, Action! Stop Motion 1st Try

Not perfect, but possibly a "start of something big"!

Created in less than 20 minutes, using props from a "this and thats" box at a free workshop compliments of our local library, Fort Vancouver Regional Library. All materials, training and gentle support  was provided.

The most challenging segment was finding a way to get the video and convert it to a cross-platform media file....UNTIL I discovered that PowerPoint creates MP4 files super simple from the SAVE AS menu.

Simple Set Up:
  • Back to back cardboard boxes
  • Paper drape you can decorate
  • Props or a drawn set of images
  • Phone or tablet in an acrylic picture holder
  • Table that does not rock and roll
  • Storyboard (plain paper) for preparation for filming.

Caution: This can be addictive and tedious!
considering a
10 second 10/fps video = 100 pictures as either
photo, drawn, or scanned images
(be careful of copyright infringements).

Stay tuned for more...👍
