Another Day in Artist's Paradise

Today I volunteered at the art table of a family event hosted by a local non-profit named Tree Song. At this station, children and their family members learned about butterflies and moths, played a butterfly/moth game and painted-colored butterfly and/or owl masks.

Next to our table-station, a young couple entertained on Celtic instruments which included a small harp. Local aerial performers defied gravity above us. Along with the surrounding spring deluge and chill we were swept away into a state of peace in this nature setting. This was my 6th day of "paint" with others, a taste of heaven.

Around our covered area dogs roamed, red-crested woodpeckers worked the tree trunks, the lake glistened, faces were painted, food was shared, some ran a mile, and other activities engaged everyone in a slow motion pace.
